 The first passenger flight was introduced by Wright Bothers in the year 1908 after their invention of air craft. They took their mechanic Charles Furnas as the first aircraft passenger. After the first and second World Wars the general aviation field found a tremendous demand.  The aircrafts have been widely used for Commercial, military and private purposes. The aircraft manufactures began to design and produce aircrafts for the middle class market. Aircraft manufacturers Cessna, Piper, and Beech Craft began to manufacture and produce light aircraft aiming at the middle class market.

Through 1950’s the demand for civil jets became a trend. Boeing 707 became the first passenger jet flight. In 1960’s much more advanced aircraft, supersonic passenger aircraft named as Concorde provided passenger services.

The development in the technology today also reflected in the aviation arena where more efficient engines and composite airframes were introduced. The advanced satellite communication and navigation system enabled the aviation to have wide dimensions.

The LED displays, satellite communications, computers and GPS gave more accuracy in finding direction, hindrances, accurate vision of maps even at night or in dim visibility.

Fighter aircrafts, Ground attack air craft, Bombers, Transport aircraft, surveillance and reconnaissance air craft comes under the military aviation.

Air traffic control is used for communication to avoid factors that might involve in collision and for the co-ordination of reports from the pilots for the co-ordination of positions.

The invention of aircrafts definitely created a great impact in the life people today to great extent that enable them to reach any part of the world within a short span of time.
